Next Public Running

Thank you to everyone who came to our Public Running Session at the start of August. The sun shone, the school holiday was still at the isn't it great not to be at school phase, and everybody had a good time*. The range of toy animal travel partners continued to expand, but there was no update from travlling tomato plant's owner - perhaps they were on holiday at the La Tomatina festival in Buñol.
* The exception was one refund issued for the youngster that was scared by the tunnel on their last visit. Which reminds me to mention that our Halloween event on 25th October is approaching - get it in your diaries.

Members' and Visitors' Running Days 2025
The club has running days where any member of the club can run their railway, traction or stationary engine at our facilities. The aim of the day is to run, enjoy, socialise and show models to other club members. Unfortunately these events are not open to the public due to restrictions on our insurance policy.
Members of other clubs are welcome to attend any members' day throughout the year. Boiler certificates will be required. Please get in contact if you wish to run from another club to let us know to expect you (and to make sure we have enough tea and biscuits).
Members day running is usually from about 10am to 5pm.
